Patti Fontaine

Over 40 years ago, the Fife's Bay resident took painting seriously, starting with oils before eventually moving to watercolors.
Abstract painting now exclusively, the medium has changed for Fontaine, acrylic being his preferred medium. This resulted in a striking job; a work that jumps from each canvas via superimposed textures, giving each piece movement and energy.
« You just feel it inside. I think it's the same for those who see my art. They all see something different ... feel something different. This is what the abstract is. Each piece is interpreted differently. »
